Something as large and complex as mental health needs a clear message for the audience to connect to and act on. Cardiff University asked Jammy Custard to help them present their research into mental health services for children and young people. Our approach kept the real people affected by these services front and centre.

In my approach as the Art Director and with the small budget allocated to me, it was decided that stock imagery and a youthful visual style helped us share how young people are struggling and emphasise why it’s up to adults to help them. The video was able to gain a lot of attention with Children’s Mental Health and was used in successful funding applications by Cardiff University and CAHM’s.
