How do you introduce the Mental Capacity Act working with the Liberty Protection Safeguards? By creating a double-act called Ace and Libby! We worked with Torfaen CBC to bring a complex but significant body of work to life by personifying the two acts and showing how well they work together.

When developing the characters and visual direction it was important to represent the acts without judgement or stereotype. I wanted the characters to present this vital information with sincerity and a dash of silliness, but most important was that the art direction didn’t resemble a children’s morning show.
